Still very confidential, Tullibardine Sovereign single malt has been matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Beautifully golden, it opens to sweet barley notes and subtle hints of vanilla. On the finish there is fudge, pear drops and soft spice. Nose: Clean and fresh, with an elegant spring floral bouquet, enhanced by a subtle citrus note.
Palate: With a gentle and delicately sweet approach; nice balance in the mouth with notes of green plums and anise; constant freshness.
Overall: Long and satisfying, almond paste-flavoured.
