Dufftown distillery was built in the late 1800’s. For most of its history, it has been used in Bell’s blended whisky, but some does get released as single malt, including this bottling. A light, easy going malt.
Nose: Nutty and fruity aromas. Adding water brings out more sweet, syrupy notes.
Palate: Crunchy nut notes, rich notes, blackcurrant, brown sugar and espresso coffee.
