The limited-edition Scotch you see here is Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old, a Highland stalwart from a distillery that was said to be a favourite of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and is conveniently situated close to Balmoral Castle. Nose: Creamy, aromatic nose with hints of hay, malted barley, oak and mixed peels. Palate: Soft smoke and gingerbread, oodles of toasty spices, Demerara sugar and boiled sweets. Finish: The finish is all about grass and honey.
