Description

This premium blend contains more than 80% Bushmills single malt aged seven to nine years (mainly aged in Spanish oak barrels that contained Oloroso sherry). A very Irish whiskey and excellent value for money.
Nose : fresh and full, a strong woody (oak and vanilla) and fruity (red fruits, dry fruits, sherry) fragrance, once aired, notes of caramel and praline, and even torrefaction (coffee).
Palate : rich and full, flavoursome and gourmand with rich notes of butter and caramel, fruity notes of raisins and candied lemon. Develops into malted barley and rose (Turkish delight).
Overall : long and dry with spicy undertones.
