Description
Between Bourbon and Scotch, it can be drunk dry, on ice, elongated with water, soda or used as a cocktail base especially to make a Perfect Manhattan. Nose: fresh and seductive at the same time, it reveals sweet notes of ripe pear, cherry juice and exotic fruits. Citrus fruits, blood oranges and lemon, appear to make way for subtle floral notes, apple and cherry blossoms. At the opening it becomes more gourmet and pastry on coconut, vanilla bourbon and sweets filled with whipped cream. Underlying, thin touches of mint and a hint of musk.
Palate: juicy and greedy at will, it keeps the promises of the nose. A farandole of ripe fruit accentuated by frank notes of rum (banana) and caramel. It becomes more complex on zan, liquorice and star anise. The middle of the mouth becomes more fruity, dominated by pear nectar and quickly, leaves the floor to creamier flavors without ever dying. Freshness is omnipresent.
Final: just as greedy as the mouth, it develops on pear and vanilla bourbon before fading on a very nice and slight bitterness.
