Description
Widely recognised as the home of the first recorded distillation of Scotch whisky in 1494, Lindores Abbey has been making modern Scotch whisky since 2017 after this state of the art distillery was built. Lindores’ fruity spirit is aged in a combination of bourbon barrels, wine barriques and sherry butts. Nose – Subtle spice and fruits. Sweet floral notes and a touch of cut grass. Palate – Quite a chewy texture at first but then a delicate palate with citrus and orchard fruits before a touch of salt. Finish – Light and elegant, red fruits and toffee being most prominent.
