Description
One of Islay’s seminal whiskies and a standout in the Classic Malts range. It pours old gold with amber hues, with an intense nose full of peat smoke, barnyard notes and malted barley. On the palate, coastal notes are introduced in the form of sea spray and smoked fish with a touch of liquorice. It rounds off with a return to smouldering peat and oak, which complements the whisky without dominating it, helping to keep the fiercer elements in check.
Heavily peated spirit, that has been aged for 16 years in oak casks
