A very special edition of Johnnie Walker’s legendary Blue Label. King George V was released originally for the travel retail market, this release commemorates the Royal Warrant bestowed to the company in 1934. Nose: A mix of heady toffee apple and very faint smoke. Thick, syrupy malt, digestive biscuits, oak. Palate: Soft, buttery toffee and general fruitiness. Medium bodied, but very malty and well-constructed blend. Finish: Golden syrup, creamy spices and malt on the finish.
