Description
The Heaven’s Door range of whiskey have been created by Bob Dylan and Marc Bushala (founder of Angel’s Envy Bourbon), made in a church in Tennessee. This expression is made with a mash bill featuring 30% “small grains”, and the spirit is allowed to age for at least 8 years in American oak barrels. The bottle features a design from Dylan’s own wrought ironwork, and the name is of course a reference to his song ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’. Nose: Cedar, summer berries, cacao and toasted grains. Palate: Festive spices, vanilla pod, buttered corn and rye warmth. Finish: More authentic vanilla notes, paired with peanut brittle and nutmeg.
