Glendronach port wood was inspired by the many imports of port cask into Scotland during the 19th century. For this edition, the best port barrels from the Douro Valley in Portugal have been hand-selected and combined with expertise within the distillery. This port wood retains Glendronach’s intensely fruity style while adding complexity and depth.

Nose: plums, blackberries and strawberry jam. Cherry blossoms, honeysuckle, sandalwood and ginger notes.

Palate: blackberry syrup, apple crumble, gingerbread, candied oranges, almond.

Final: orange zest, raisins, candied cherries.
