Dalwhinnie is quite a well known single malt whisky, but what is not so well known is much of it’s produce is being blended into Buchanan’s blend, which is mainly exported to South America. A light, honeyed single malt produced in a beautiful part of the Scotland. Nose: An apple and mint juiciness, with soft vanilla pods. Fresh and warming on the nose.Palate: Icing sugar, vanilla ice cream, lime, grapes and a slight pepper note. More maltiness and a sponge pudding finish with a slight saltiness.
