Description
In 1987, Tom Bulleit drew inspiration from the past and his great-grandfather, Augustus Bulleit, to create a unique bourbon from an 1830 family recipe. The proportions of the recipe are: 1/3 rye and 2/3 corn. The result is an atypical bourbon with a drier and less sweet character than usual
Nose: Aromas of creamy vanilla, full-bodied spices and pralines.
Palate: A gentle and delicate appetizer leads to a round body with honeyed grains, vanilla bean and pralines.
Final: Complex and persistent with fruity flavours of caramel and peppery spice
