Description

Double Cask is made with a combination of malt whisky matured in Spanish sherry casks and grain whisky matured in red wine casks. Aromas of blackcurrants, damsons, Seville orange, walnut and coffee cake fill the nose, complemented by notes of cherry, raspberry, vanilla cream, brown sugar, ginger and toffee throughout the palate. Nose – Dried fruits and walnuts with hints of raisin, oak and orange; Palate – A burst of red berries enveloped in a thick and rich mouth feel; Finish – : Dry and everlasting with notes of plump grapes, red wine and a whisper of burnt toffee.
