First distilled in 1888, “The Antiquary” refers to the short story “The Antiques dealer” written by the famous Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. Aged in American oak barrels for more than twenty-one years, this creamy blend is made with the best malt and Scottish grain whiskies
Nose: fresh and invigorating reflecting a malty sweetness. Toffee, bitter oranges and lemon.
Palate: full-bodied and fluffy with a thick and warm softness. It explodes on malty flavors. Long with a honeyed heather aftertaste.
Final: dry on spices and oak.
