Description
A peated, cask strength whisky from Amrut. Distilled from Scottish peated barley with peat levels of 23 ppm, given 92 points by Jim Murray. Nose: Peat is surprisingly restrained, toffee, dirty phenols, fruity. Palate: Peat, fruit, sweet, over-ripe bananas, pic ‘n’ mix. Finish: Sweetness, bonfire smoke, barley and over-ripe fruit appear.
