A long gone and much missed dram from Glenrothes – 1989 vintage whisky bottled in 2000 in their distinctive bottle, one of the first of their whiskies to be so. Nose: Big and bold. Fruity, spicy, raisins and sultanas, sherry. Palate: Rich and silky. Very fruity, spicy, nutty, toffee, vanilla, honey. Finish: Long and complex. Toffee, honey, fudge.
