Fettercairn has released its third batch of its Warehouse 2 single malt Scotch whisky! The series has showcased some intriguing cask combinations, and that continues here – this edition has been aged in a combo of bourbon barrels, rum casks, and French red wine barriques. Not every day you see that trio together! Nose: Apple turnover, tropical fruit, a smidge of floral honey and rose petal jam. Palate: Redcurrant, sultana, toasted sugar, heather honey, nutmeg, crushed peppercorns. Finish: Lingering hints of melted butter and raspberries.
