Royal Welsh is a single malt distilled as a tribute to the very first Welsh whisky produced more than 100 years ago by a distillery located in the north of the country and now defunct. The bottle and label are the exact copy of the old version! As for the aromatic character of this single malt, Penderyn has imagined a finish in ex-cas of Laphroaig and ex-cas of Porto. A brilliant blend that allows the fruity notes of the distillate to fully express (non-peat) while giving it delicate notes of red berries and smoke.
