The Macallan Double Cask 15 years old is a perfectly balanced single malt whisky, created by bringing together the perfect harmony of two oaks into one exceptional single malt whisky. The American oak seasoned with sherry adds a delicate vanilla to the subtle spice of European oak, giving a whisky with a softer, warmer taste and well-soaked character. Like any Single Malt Scotch whisky, The Macallan is made entirely of malted barley. Distillation is carried out in a single distillery, and bottling is done in Scotland. This distinguished single malt aged in Sherry barrels of American and European oaks, for 15 years.

Nose: Dried fruit, caramel and vanilla with notes of oak and cooked apple. Balanced with notes of honey and chocolate

Palate: Rich in raisins with hints of vanilla, woody spices and citrus fruits

Final: Warm notes with ginger turning into caramel and citrus, with a creamy mouth feel
