Tomatin 12 is quite a light but pleasingly fruity spirit, aged for 11-12 years in ex-Bourbon casks, and finished for the last 6 to 9 months in ex-Oloroso casks.
Nose: An apple and mint juiciness, with soft vanilla pods. Fresh and warming on the nose.
Palate: Icing sugar, vanilla ice cream, lime, grapes and a slight pepper note. More maltiness and a sponge pudding finish with a slight saltiness.
